Annual General Meeting of The Arts Society Sherborne
The AGM took place on Zoom on 9 September 2020 with Nicole Lyscom in the Chair and with 25 Members “present”.
The Officers and Committee were elected and can be seen on the “Our Team” page of this website.
Changes to the Constitution and Rules of the Society, which had previously been circulated to all members were passed by the necessary two-thirds majority of those voting by a show of hands.
The revised constitution can be viewed by clicking on the link.
The revised Constitution and Rules result in several changes to key dates in the Society’s year:
- the 2020-2021 financial reporting period will run from 1 April 2020 to 30 September 2021;
- from 2021-2022 the financial reporting period will run from 1 October to 30 September annually;
- from 2021 the Annual General Meeting will normally take place in December;
- memberships will be due for renewal on 31 December annually.
